Although I know it happens, it's still very surprisng to see that people go that far. Thinking about the logistics of the world and its many fanboys, I knew it was entirely possible for something like that. But isn't it odd that it's still surprising? I guess the fact that I never thought about it is what built up the surprise.

As for this thread: If I could name a handful of movies, the list would be either limited to things I only thought of or would be at least several dozen movies long.
If I had to name just one though, there would be no contest.

Seriously, what's not to like ?
Great story
At least good acting
AMAZING non cgi special effects
Tons of character
Very memorable characters
A well written, strong female lead character - which is still rather rare even today
Due to the lack of cgi, the movie withstands the test of time perfectly
I could go on and on.

It's a great movie, but I like the first one more. It's just got such great tension and atmosphere and the characters are really lifelike and believable. It's nearly perfect.

I just assume that people who like Aliens over Alien are of substandard intelligence. The alien ship, the cast's chemistry, the chestburster, all the ambient noises that are going on the entire movie to build tension. The second movie is great and all, but it's got nothing on the first.
