Default NBC Late Night Debate

Most of you may be aware of the ongoing struggle in the Late Night Television world. The Jay Leno Show flopped, and now they want to push Conan O'Briens Tonight Show to 12:05. To me this would ruin what the Tonight Show has always been, and be a tremendous damper on it's legacy.

Conan is ready to sacrafice his tenour on the show so it's legacy remains intact.

If Conan leaves, and Jay takes back over... let it be known that Conan had what I think was the most special Tonight Show run. Even if it was a short 7 months time, I'd never laughed so hard at the program.

I think Conan has lost his spark. I used to watch him almost religiously back when he was on Late Night, but now I don't find his jokes that funny. It may just be his writers, since I still enjoy his interviews and his occasional trip he takes out and about. Also, what happened to Triumph?

Jimmy Fallon started weak, but now I much prefer him over Conan. He has a lot fresher material and his unscripted banter is really great.

Maybe in the beginning but he's stretched his legs so to speak and he's very comfortable in his position now, and Tonight is starting to get as brilliant as ever. Triumph is a near regular now, by the way.

Conan being in the 11:35 means he has to play to a broader audience. Unfortunately this means that he has to give up some of his racier (funnier) skits. I think if he were to move to FOX he would be able to use some his old skits, regardless of what time he comes on.

The Tonight show shouldn't be moved from its normal time Slot..... If it does it needs to be named the Tomorrow show.

I not a big fan of Conan but I think Leno coming back and taking his spot back is pretty ****ty.

Conan was always my favourite of the three (Leno - Conan - Letterman) and that's because of his awkward weirdly put together show. As Leno went and Conan became the main, I thought all the pressure of being professional would ruin a bit of the show's original humour. It was all about the artificial scenery in the back, the made-up news and the corky humour, and I think they ruined it.
Unfortunately, I no longer get any of the channels that broadcast Conan's show, so it's a tragedy all around.

Conan spoke to my generation at least. Their just trying to satiate middle america with low-brow humor.

Clinton + Hummer = funny

Triumph a regular? Man, I need to start watching it more then.

They should just drop Leno all together. He's pretty awful.
