Oh yeah I'm sure they have, just as long as they keep the VATS system though, that was one of my favorite aspects of it.

Still prefer Elder Scrolls as a series, but they are both 10/10 series

Halo 3 still takes it's rightful place in being the best thing ever created. While games like Fallout (which take a dump on Skyrim anyday) take hundreds of hours, so much exploration, and so much to be found, I just can't find myself to do it all over again. Halo 3 campaign was so much fun, alone or with three other people online. I played when multiplayer in general was at it's peak. Remember SOCIAL Slayer? When people used their mics to just chat up the other players, and not just piss you off, nowadays, less than 2 people with mics in every damn lobby! Custom games was also a whole new deal, I played well over 1,000 games in each playlist (Social, Ranked, Custon), but by far Halo 3 Custom Games will be one of the best lobbies ever, there was never a shortage of people, no one kicked you if you joined randomly, the more the better. Classic gametypes, Alpha Zombie, Toilet, Races, Micheal Jackson, Cops and Robbers, it makes me sad just thinking about the fun once had. **** Halo 4, although I knew I would end up buying it just like every other Halo let down after 3.

Halo 3? It was easily the worst Halo yet at the time. The first one was just such a perfect combo of solid gameplay, sci fi awesomeness, and great levels that made such an impression when I first played it that I don't think any of the other ones will ever have the same impact. It was just the perfect game at the perfect time.

Halo 3 supported huge custom communities by itself for years on end. That game change Halo, and it all went downhill after.

That game did nothing that Halo 2 hadn't already done. At least Reach gets credit for treading new ground.

If I were to rank the series it'd go:

CE > 2 > Reach > 3

Haven't played enough of 4 to give an opinion but it seems liike more of the same. I'm pretty bored of the series at this point.
