Ive always wanted Final Fantasy Tactics to be made into some form of media. Favorite console game of all time.

Using Tetris as a metaphor, the idea could be stretched pretty far, perhaps. Then Tetris is all about that moment where everything in your life seems to fall into place, and also about all those times when nothing seems to fit together. I don't know...

You don't need to have blocks falling and eliminating each other. You could just do something small as a homage to the fans that need to see some stupid crap like that but other than that, the world is open to do so much more than that. I can't wait til the Trilogy comes out. I have a really good feeling about it.

The basic concept of LEGOs is about building stories. LEGOs themselves are potentially good storytelling devices. Tetris in no way lends itself to telling a story.

That is a useless statement. Why did you even post it? I could be close minded about a movie based around actual footage of child porn, but that isn't an argument for a child porn movie.

You aren't open enough creatively to make your own story around Tetris. That's why I said it.

It's just like Minecraft. It would be so easy to create a story around Minecraft and they did it but making the story mode.

BUT TETRIS HAS NO STORY!!! NOR THE POTENTIAL FOR A STORY!!! Hell, even Battleship had the most basic elements of a story.

Thats why you make one for it. What if the blocks were all worlds falling from the heavens and when they aligned they were erased. So the inhabitants of said worlds were constantly scrambling up the stack to avoid their inevitable fate or to reach the heavens where they are rewarded?
