I don't believe in guilty pleasures. Either I like something with no shame, or I don't like it. The LSL games are fun point and click adventures. Really dumb humor at times, but that is also part of the charm.

Except that most people (like me) don't really know what Leisure Suit Larry is aside from the game covers, so we just assume you're a pervert.

I say as a hentai game veteran.

No, I don't really read that kind of thing at all. But I do have all the Bomb Queen books (Image). Mostly, I've got some american graphic novels and a ton of european 70's, 80's and 90's comics. I mostly know Image for their connection with that hilariously bad hack artist Rob Liefeld. I never get tired of laughing at his drawings.

I read some old New Mutants and X-Force from the Liefeld period... it was an experience. People always talk about the feet thing, but I think the lack of pupils is a far more worrying issue.

The 40 Worst Rob Liefeld Drawings - Progressive Boink

40 MORE Of The Worst Rob Liefeld Drawings. - Progressive Boink

Oh, and did you ever read Miracleman? Originally Marvelman?

I remember reading the entirety of those two articles once. I almost died laughing. The only time Liefeld isn't funny is when he's so terrible it makes me feel disgusted.

No, never read Miracleman. Since it seems to be Moore, I'm at least curious. Is it a character he's created, or did he just take it over for a while?

EDIT: Googled for some Miracleman pages. Lol wtf?

As far as already done ones go, Kirby: Right Back At Ya was legit good. I especially loved what they did with Meta Knight, overly-strong Spanish accent and all. IO would also love to see a Final Fantasy TV series that's actually based on the games, not a spin-off or some original story. Let's have an FF7 series split into 3 seasons like the game was split into 3 discs.

Basically. Miracleman was originally an old Captain Marvel (the DC Captain Marvel) ripoff from the 50s, and Alan Moore stripped him down and rebuilt him into what might be my favorite superhero deconstructionist story of all-time. If you read it, just know that when you come to a cover that warns of explicit scenes of childbirth, you should not take that warning lightly. I made that mistake.

But when Alan Moore left the series, do you know who took over? Neil Gaiman. This series two writers were Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman. How ****ing insane is that?

You're welcome.
