I firmly believe that Mondo has just gotten more and more consistently great as time goes on. His first Q'qu'umatz album was my metal album of 2016 and my number 3 overall.

I still prefer ZON because it's a little more raw, but he's gotten insanely better in the past year. I went from thinking he made solid music that was ripping me off to being floored by each very original release.

I like this project a tad more, but ZON is incredible too. I can't believe this is all coming from a guy I talk to all the time. I'm sure my album that's coming soon won't be quite as good as the stuff he's been putting out recently despite working on it for like 2 years. I'm really excited to see where he goes next.
