As much as I could spurt forth negative bile about Disney, they do one thing very well... entertain my kids, and in such a way that they are not exposed to values that go beyond their innocent minds... the concepts, dialogue and general demeanor of their programme does make me confident that my kids are not picking up bad habits and values when they watch the damn Disney Channel 24/7#..

I agree, as pure child entertainment Disney is great! its when they try and crack the more mature audience it all goes wrong. If you are in child entertainment its very hard to do anything after

woah woah woah as a 14 year girl I feel like I have to stand up for my demographic. The Miley Cyrus revolution came about at a time when I was old enough to determine crap from noncrap its true, but I would say her target age group is more like 5-12. It doesn't seem like that great a difference, but I don't know any 13 year old girls who would have the balls to say they liked Miley Cyrus without getting a ton of **** about it. My biggest pet peeve about her is her teeth. She used to have awful teeth, but I kind of respected them. She was pretty much the only person in Hollywood who didn't change herself to be beautiful. Personally I think she's hideous anyway, but it was a good role model for the chillins. Then she goes and gets caps and now her teeth are these ginormous things that literally protrude beyond her lips when she smiles. As for possibly making better music in the future...her role model is Hilary Duff...I feel like that says enough.
