yeah man i think you'll find there's a clickable link for the July album under the review heading, I'll fish around for Misunderstood. Google blogsearch/totallyfuzzy.blogspot.com are always safe bets for out-of-print psych albums, bloggers are quite hot on them

nah but check it out.

I think there are certain early 70's albums that fit the manifesto of this thread, I am wondering whether to review the symphonic rock/prog of 60's Moody Blues and Procol Harum though, they are alot more classical than any of this other stuff

you're right, i'm a fusspot! managed to find another one and it's exactly the same upload lol. f*cking great album though, heavy heavy psych. If you haven't got too much on your plate jackhammer you should review it, if not I will, it's very MB-friendly I think

Yeah it's tagged as Prog Rock on RYM but as you say it's more Psych. Maybe best if you review it as I have lots of reviews for my journal to do. I'm sure Comus would dig this album too.

The 13th Floor Elevators were fronted by the amazing Roky Erikson, who had psychedelic nightmares of two headed dogs, vampires and zombies. Roky was digagnosed with chronic schizophrenia which has limited his touring and recording but he's still a survivor and a mezmerizing performer when he's able to tour. Note the original lineup of the 13th Floor Elevators had a guy who played bass on a jug, like the old ragtime jug bands and some the old Mississippi blues bands of the 20s and 30s like the Mississippi Sheiks.
