i won't lie Minor Threat's discography is what popped in my head.....i mean 26 songs and i still know every word and every breakdown.....but then i think about Circle Jerks, bad Religion, J Church, Rudimentary Peni.....yep impossible!

"Live At The Witch Trials" might not be singularly punk, but I'm putting it up there.

I do not know, I can think of tons of albums I would list above Minor Threat.
Bad Brains - ROIR Black Flag - Damaged NoMeansNo - Wrong Dead Kennedys - Plastic Surgery Disasters (yes, I am picking this over Fresh Fruit) Dayglo Abortions - Feed Us A Fetus Dead Boys - Young Loud and Snotty Stiff Little Fingers - Inflammable Material The Damned - Machine Gun Etiquette Minutemen - Double Nickels on the Dime and on and on and on and on... Minor Threat are good, and I love them. But I find Discography to be lop sided. More great songs on the first half, and drags on near the end. Do not think it is consistent enough to be above any of those albums listed and many more I could mention if I so desired at the moment. Especially out of those, Bad Brains and Damaged. Even overall in hardcore, Minor Threat arent one of my favorites. Articles of Faith, Battalion of Saints, Genetic Control, Deep Wound, Gang Green, The F.U.'s, Wasted Youth... list goes on here too. Think there were tons more bands that don't get credit. |
