I don't like Kanye at all, I don't like his style or his flows thus far in his music. His lyrics in Jesus Walks (And some other songs) I can appreciate however, I quite like Common though. (Who Kanye produced apparently, or atleast his latest album) ^^

Early Common is 100000000x better than "Be"

I do agree, but nevertheless I still like his latest album.

Common's last good album was Resurrection. He's pretty much sucked ever since he got turned out by Erykah Badu IMO.

I was listening to him today infact.

I think he's fantastic. Outspoken and honest-great qualities in a rapper. His lyrics aren't the best I have to admit but he is a fantastic producer and the beats in his rhymes more than make up for his song writing abilties. Plus, it's fantastic that he's in the game. It's great to see rapper talking about something and then doing something about it, rather than just trying to sell records.

Kanye is not that great. Maybe a few catchy songs here and there, but it isn't inspired, most of his albums are filler not-even-catchy-enough-for-clubs kind of material. But for someone in the public eye, in comparison to the rest, he seems like a breath of fresh air. If you think Kanye has depth, then there's much hope that you will like a lot of other rappers that aren't in the spotlight. Keep an open mind.

I'm not generally a fan of rap but I like his stuff. He has the whole package happening.
