It isn't?? I wasn't being a smart ass. Like I said, nothing personal.
To be truly successful, image and talent go hand in hand. Kanye delivers on both accounts. Oh and by the way, it's p-e-d-a-n-t-i-c. ;) |
yeah but what the f is he on the pr front?.... one idiotic rentaquote after another, if he were all about the music, he would shut up outside the studio innit.

My nephews really like kayne west but they are listening to the jammxkids alot more often lately which is cool, kayne west is perfect for kids though IMO its also an appropriate hiphop group. Jammxkids is more colorful though thats for sure

Kanye West is good for kids? What? Don't you read the parental advisory stickers on it? It's not good for kids, it's rap-IMO no rap is good for kids. Rap is good, but look what it has done to society.

so what exactly has rap done to hurt our society? portray violence in a glorifying manner? shown women in a degrading and objectifying fashion? look at any aspect of the media, they ALL do it. don't single rap out. Rap is only doing the exact same thing that every other portion of popular media does. And you know what, they do it because it sells. Because our society was functioning this way LONG before rap existed. |
I'm not denying the fact that other forms of media do it. I love rap and I always will, but you can't honestly say that Rap hasn't made things worse. Over here in England kids wearing hoodies and gold chains stand on street corners rapping, with a spliff in one hand and a bottle of Stella in the other. I know some kids that were fine before they got caught up in Rap, but now that they are caught up in it they probably have files all over the local police stations. It's not just rap, but rap really hasn't helped. I hope no-one from some goody-goody Rights group is reading this now-I don't want Rap to be banned...
