Hahaha. ;P

Yeah I can't find the actual lyric but there's another one where he says "Every time you see me I look like I hit the lotto twice."
All I can think is "Shut UP. Nobody gives a **** and NO, that's NOT what you look like every time I see you."

Sick of that ****.
Eminem does that pretty often and so does Drake.
Something about his pockets being heavy or some stupid **** like that.
shut the **** up.
seriously? the foundation of hip hop was based on bravado, and proving to the community that you were worth listening to by decimating your opponents and bragging about how lyrically gifted you were was the best way to gain a following. have you ever listened to a rapper say he wasn't the best in the world without having a metaphoric or sarcastic meaning behind it? i'm guessing you haven't, because if a lyricist didn't have the utmost confidence in his craft he wouldn't be anywhere in the industry. one of hip hop's key tenets is to be the best you can be lyrically, and all rap is basically a derivation/expansion of fanciful boasting.

some do it better than others, "some" being truly gifted artists, "others" suffer the mainstream mediocrity that seems to infect all top 40 rap artists.

I love literally every 'rap cliche' that has been posted in this thread, except for computerized voice changing.

I didn't read back again to see if this was mentioned by I'm getting tired of the whole "life's a bitch" line followed by women traits and things of that nature like having sex with her or putting a dick in her mouth

I'm also tired of the whole "lets make a movie" that rappers tend to go for with their slower songs for the ladies. we get it, you want to make sex tapes with every woman that you meet.

"Lifes not a bitch, life is a beautiful woman,
You only call her a bitch cause she won't let you get that pussy."

No... it wasn't.

But I agree, people need to stop bitching about boasting. It became a central component in rap a long time ago, and it's nothing to get flustered about.

I have and I agree with him. Rappers first started out just hyping the DJ who was the real star.
People danced.
