Yes, he would apply that same logic—assuming, of course, that said pop stars didn't actually exhibit any other talents.

I wonder if people would like him more if he didn't swipe the mic away from the oh-so-great anointed one Taylor Swift. If you ask me, she's the cunt

With how much of a control freak he is, I'm sure he still has a heavy hand in the production work.

I think people on here don't understand what a producer does.

A producer puts together and arranges the music. He doesn't necessarily create any of the music, but he does put it together. He is the final say on what goes where and how and why.

Now the confusion comes in because typically hip hop producers are the ones creating the beat, because most hip hop producers use samples. Kanye West gets talented musicians together has them create the sounds he uses to produce the music. He has final say and he is very talented at it.

Edit: A producer is not a composer. And I have never liked Kanye's music because of his shenanigans. I liked it because it's good and I have a superior taste. If any of that were true you'd think that Hopsin or Jokerr would be much bigger rappers because that's how they tried to kick start their career.

She tries too hard to try and be friends with him, like she's seeking his approval or something, it's a bit cringe worthy.

She tries too hard at trying to look like the nice girl getting picked on so she can push a victim rhetoric for attention.

I'm pretty sure Kanye's plowed her at some point and is still a little salty he's with Kim.

I think you aren't giving him credit for how involved he is when it comes to creating beats. He uses a beat machine himself and has produced/made beats for many others including Jay. Yes, he needs people to help him with writing since he isn't that great of a lyricist but when it comes to the production. He isn't just sitting back after making some calls to other musicians and letting them have their way with the beats.

Maybe taking the contributions of talented people and turning it into boring music is his true talent.
