Just for the record I said that 3 years ago something is going to happen to Kanye sometime in the future and he is going to die. When he dies everybody will jump on his dick and forget all of his controversies.

I was saying that I'm sure it's going to be suicide.

djchameleon 11-24-2016 11:49 PM

Kanye is too vain to kill himself especially now that he has children.

If he does the full GG and does it on stage I promise to watch the video over and over again. Hopefully, someone will remember to yell "World Star!"

Maybe, maybe not. I hope I'm wrong personally. Kanye is great.

If he had some content it could add some Joy Division Nirvana type of mystique to his legacy. First, he'd have to make a good record though.

Justthefacts 11-25-2016 12:17 AM

I heard Kanye's doing better, I don't think he's gonna kill himself anytime soon.

Hopefully this little bump in the road is what my great prophetic mind saw.

Goofle 11-25-2016 01:40 AM

It was probably a political move on his part after the Trump revelations.

Mindfulness 11-25-2016 03:23 AM

hope dude gets better, that rant on the ellen show was different

Yes, I was just curious which beats you thought deserved that kind of praise.

Goofle 11-25-2016 05:19 AM

Basically all of MBDTF is classic production. Most of Yeezus and Late Registration etc.

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 11-25-2016 05:34 AM

Graduation is underrated by Kanye fans

Yeezus is the only one of those that doesn't bore me to death, but even that album only rises to the level of "alright" to me. The Tupperware sealed production style detracts a lot from tracks that would be better if they were more raw and his vocals ratchet down the quality of everything.

Frownland 11-25-2016 08:40 AM

MBDTF is classic in that it put mind numbing boredom on the charts.

False, It's overrated. The last few tracks are really horrible. The rest borders on just good.

Key 11-27-2016 09:49 PM

I've been digging Kanye recently. Listened to The Life of Pablo, Yeezus, MBDTF, and Graduation and enjoyed each of them.

You might hate 808's.

Or love it. It has it's own appeal.

I'll listen to it eventually. I may still be addicted to The Weeknds new album tomorrow but we'll see.

fight me ***. every yeezy fan runs it down as his worst but it's pretty solid top to bottom.

a friend of mine was trying to get into him and asked me to rec him an album, i said either MBDTF or 808s. i think people who aren't huge hip-hop fans can dig it quite a bit.

Goofle 11-28-2016 06:11 AM

The problem with Kanye's earlier albums is that they are far too long.

djchameleon 11-28-2016 06:26 AM

Nah that isn't a problem when the album is quality and there are no filler tracks. There are those silly ass skits though.

Goofle 11-28-2016 07:35 AM

I meant to imply that some of those tracks were pretty bad and the skits sucked.

Frownland 11-28-2016 08:04 AM

I thought all of Yeezus was a skit because Kanye's rapping is such a joke.

Ba-da-boom

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 11-28-2016 08:35 AM

Not every rapper is Billy Woods and that's perfectly okay.

Can they at least try to be good though? Plus, Billy Woods is the best lyricist out there but his flow could use some work at points.

DwnWthVwls 11-28-2016 08:45 AM

Sage > Aesop > Billy

Frownland 11-28-2016 08:46 AM

I feel literally the opposite but whatever they're all great.

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 11-28-2016 09:24 AM

I would also put them in the opposite order but they're all great indeed, yeah. I don't listen to Kanye for his lyrics though, I would never argue that he's a strong lyricist. I love his production and the overall catchiness of a lot of his bars. I think Gorgeous is the perfect example of what I like about him, tbh.

I was going to post the YouTube vid here... forget his music isn't on YouTube anymore.

Frownland 11-28-2016 09:27 AM

I don't like Kanye's delivery either.

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 11-28-2016 09:28 AM

That's my issue with Danny Brown but there are a few songs I like from him despite that fact.

Mindfulness 11-28-2016 09:34 AM

i actually hope dude takes a break in life... making clothes, making albums, making beats, trying to be famous still.. i bet that gets hard after a while

idk, never really hated the dude..just never liked his personality but his music is greatness

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 11-28-2016 09:36 AM

El-P > Killer Mike

Man is he dumb. It takes El-P for Killer Mike to reach his peak, which is equal El on a bad day (that's still really good though).

Key 11-28-2016 09:54 AM

I know this is slightly off topic but I'm definitely becoming a huge fan of hip-hop. Can you guys suggest other acts that you think I'd like?

So far I've heard:
Kanye West
The Weeknd
Blue Scholars
Travis Scott
Kendrick Lamar

Would love some recs.
