Black metal is also more ideologically based than gangster rap, (meaning that anyone can subscribe to the theology of Satanism, or whatever neo pagan gods they're singing about) while gangster rap requires one to grow up in a specific socio economic background to experience the gangland life. I suppose Post Malone could move to the inner city of Detroit to gain his street cred....but I'm really not sure how long he would last lol. I'm aware of that, he was part of the inner city bussing program where blacks were shuttled into nice white suburban high schools. Still point taken. Ice Cube and Dr Dre would definitely be described as studio gangsters. |

I didn't know people knew about Post Malone back in 2014 (I seen this is when the thread was started). I haven't heard too much about stitches, except his beef with game. I think Post Malone is okay, I did manage to find some more songs by him besides "White Iverson". I seen I can only post URLs to other sites after 15 posts, but I did manage to find a mixtape with 10 tracks by Post Malone, guess I'll have to wait to post that link. If you check my profile and then go to my contact info, that is my site and I do have that Post Malone mixtape on there.
