I'm not saying that bands without great musicianship or deep, meaningful lyrics are bad, hell, Art Brut and Brakes (both bands written about by NME, both bands creating very catchy, pop/rock style music) released two of the best albums last year, but those other bands are playing that kind of music very badly.

Default Arctic Monkeys Tickets?

Just heard some Arctic Monkeys tickets are going on sale tonight. Does anyone know anything about this?

Yeah, my entire college is pretty much orgasming over these tickets right now. But, from what Ive gathered, the only ones we [down in cornwall] could buy online/through phone sold out within minutes, and now the only way to get them is to go down to the venue itself and buy them, which sucks ass cause thats pretty far away for a lot of us.

Anyway. I have no interest really.

Psssh, they're not the raving orgasm of music that everyone else seems to be so hyped over. I know people that queued up outside in the FREEZING cold for hours for those tickets . . . Ohwell, whatever floats yer boat I guess. I wouldnt do that for the majority of bands, its that cold over here right now.

Tried ebay? You'll probably pay way over the actual price though.

Urgh. On this one ticket site, theyre going for over £100. The ones on ebay are finishing at around about that price.

Overrated much? Mmhm.
