Well, i dont let a bands fanbase effect my opinions of the band itself, or at least it shouldnt taint your enjoyment for the music.

Hell, i listen to Iron Maiden for gods sake, most of their fans are ****s.

Imagine having to listen to music over 30 years old all the time based on other people saying that they`re 'classic' bands.
So what if they're old or have gotten old!!!The music that's being played today will be "old" before ya know it...........All that matters is that it's good music!!! That's why you get people talking/asking about their guilty pleasures nowadays!!! In closing, I'm ashamed that we've had to talk to those aszholes that say we shouldn't like our guilty pleasures simply because they don't!!!What do they know anyways, ya know?

So, people cant express their opinions now at any cost?

I guess instrumental talent is the only kind of talent there is.

But you like Thrice, so you have my pity.

Anyone who takes Rolling Stone and their lame opinions seriously has a problem of their own, really.
