I like Gojira and Meshuggah. I hate growly vocals for the sake of it, but I love Gojiras vox because they work so well.

Where do you recommend I take my search for teh brutal methul based on this information?

Yes, but I don't remember much about them except I didn't like it. Will give them another try.

Man I really would if I could. My internet connection here is horrible and doesn't support uploads/downloads. I'm actually being forced to buy albums with money. Like what am I fifty?

I'm perfectly willing to buy it when I see it but I can't imagine my local indie store would manage to pick it up when their idea of heavy metal is Iced Earth and Cradle of Filth (shudder).

thanks anyways dude

I feel like some rock laden with guitar solos. I've just put South Southern Delta by Jimi Hendrix after a good 10 years and I'm digging the shit out the solos (although the drumming is a tad lacking, at least if you've heard The Mars Volta). Same goes for My morning jacket, the Volta etc. Hit me.
