His style of guitar playing? He certainly didn't write straightforward songs but his style was nowhere near overly complicated.

complicated does not mean good...id think even you would realize that. he plays (in my opinion) with more feeling than any other. And half f his music was made while he was strung out on herion, which is incredible.

Just found this video... YouTube - Life's A Bath

If you like him watch it, its sad tho.

I think thats adds to him being the best, overcoming all that, and making music throughout. Good music at that.
