I'm happy to see everyone isn't saying "post-core what are you a scene ***?"
anyways I'd have to agree with you, Protest the hero's music tend to be hard to listen too because every instrument seems to be doing it's own thing
and yeah, Doppelganger is the very definition of "Masterpiece"

If you're in a metalcore band you pretty much have to write breakdowns, it's pretty much law.

Well that's pretty much how you define metalcore: Breakdowns, breakdows, and breakdowns. Anything else and it's probably a different genre.

It's funny though, because in a many breakkdowns it's only the rythem guitar thats doing the one note chugging and the lead guitar is doing something else entirely. Sometimes he's absolutly shredding, but people will focus on the rythem guitar and be like "lul no talent"

Does it help that I couldn't name a metal core band or tell you what it sounds like.

Either way I don't measure how much I like a band based off how much talent they have, just if I like how they sound. For example I like A Day To Remember much more than Iron Maiden, although I do like Iron Maiden

I'm 16, I don't like much Metalcore, I'm not gonna hate it (even though I despise, BMTH and Asking) I'm not gonna call you ***got, that just might be the real ***gots in the school you go to, I joined this forum to talk about music and get away from the "lul fggt" stuff

Yes, homophobic slurs are completely inappropriate. Please don't use them here.

I tend to judge a lot of mainstream metalcore bands by how they look. Just look at this (Bring Me the Horizon) picture. Notice something? It's what the Jonas Brothers would look like if they were sceners.

Sorry for trying to make my point. I felt that using the slurs would pick up attention and get my point across. It has worked by the looks of it.
