I'll do it in order. I just hope that they're not all just joking.

"Right off the bat, the author is wrong. Those drum bars at the beginning of 6:00 are NOT in an "odd time signature." They're 4/4 with syncopation. Obviously, this author doesn't know what he's talking about."

...No. I don't enjoy Dream Theater because of LaBrie and a couple other things. It's as simple as that. You front Judas Priest, Motorhead, ACDC, Porcupine Tree or anyone with LaBrie and I'd loathe that bands sound. It's not for me.
