I'll pick vulgar display of power
Haven't played them in a while though.

I think this would be a good "trimmed down" list for now:

(in no order)

1. A New Level.
2. Mouth For War.
3. Suicide Note Pt. II.
4. Primal Concrete Sledge.
5. Floods.
6. G.S.T.K.
7. Drag The Waters.
8. Psycho Holiday.
9. Strength Beyond Strength.
10. Clash With Reality.

Pantera was a band that never wanted to follow trends and neither do I.If you think that this list doesn't include all the hits, then fu(k it...
...I'm not gonna follow the trend to try and be popular or in agreement with what others might like!!!I judged my songs based on the fact that I liked them, hit or not...lol!!!

That's funny you mentioned r.t.s. not being the better album...lol.I was hangin' out with my brother a week or so ago and I saw he had that pantera album which I think is good, but probally pantera's worst.Anyways, I asked my brother where he got it and he said he got it from a friend and that the friend recently purchased it, but didn't think it was all that great. Then we were chillin' and I decided to put it in because he hadn't heard it yet.Well, we listened, skipped one song after the other and you know what he told me about r.t.s.?That's right, he said "This doesn't really sound like pantera; it really is as bad as my friend told me!!!"Anyways I still like the album, but I agree that it is in last, not first place when it comes to pantera albums!!!

The Great Southern Trendkill is Pantera at their worst (excluding their 80's ****).

Flood is about the only thing saving it from being a bad album.

I wouldn't go that far. It is my favorite Pantera album, but it really isn't under rated. Floods is a great song, and so is the rest of the album. Phil's vocals suck, really bad, but I've come to expect that with all of their albums. However the riffing was genious, and executed perfectly. The lyrics are really good too, unfortunately they have to come out of Phil's mouth.

VDOP is my favorite and i think it is one of the most important metal albums of the last 20 years. and i agree Trendkill is very underrated. all the reviews ive read for it say that it sucks but i love it. and Floods is my second favorite song (5 Minutes Alone).

Not a fanatic, but Pantera are my favorite 90s metal band....

Vulgar Display Of Power > Black Album > Cowboys From Hell > Seasons in the Abyss >>> Rust In Peace > pretty much everything else Metallica did in the 90s > anything else Megadeth did in the 90s.

Megadeth are just shamelessly overrated IMO, i always thought Pantera were underrated, though that may no longer be the case because of Dimebags death, which has given them a burst in popularity, but now people who barely know anything about them and don't "get them" feel free to insult them and say they're happy that Dimebag is dead in very much they same manner people bash Nirvana and Kurt Cobain.

And such people infuriate me in ways websters dictionary can't discribe.

Pantera remains to this day one of my 10 or 20 favourite metal bands. I've always liked them.

Unfortunately there are metal elitists who look down on anyone who likes Pantera, because they're a little more popular nowadays.
