Why do so many people hate Dream Theater? it's not even like they have a huge fan base...

I just get bored of being lectured to about how stupid I am just because i`m not able to spot how they`re the greatest band in the world just because they can play a bit fast.

Ah. Well, they aren't the best, but I do think a lot of their work is amazing, and they have a fairly tiny fanbase over here, so I was unaware of that...
