The same thought crossed my mind as a matter of fact, I'm tempted to say I agree with this. Other than generally sounding rougher, the album was a commercial failure, which doesn't at all surprise me because it's not really as commercial as any of their other albums. Personally I'm quite fond of it, here's an old favourite to get started:
