They`re a 12 bar boogie pub band , what the hell do you expect.
Most importantly, they're not punk! They're a hard-rock band, not a $hitty, talentless punk band and that's why they've stood the test of time. They kick a$s, talk dirty, know how to play music and play whatever they want however and whenever they want.

I like AC/DC and don't hate you if you don't like them.Obviously I hate people appropriately and know that there's a lot more great music out there other than AC/DC...
...even though I think they're a great band that kicks a$s.

Even though I did nothing but trash metal yesterday, I still find this disgustingly narrowminded.

Punk fans tend to be the most open minded people I know, even though some of them can be all "Complex music is all bollocks you bloody bastard, argh, shiver me timbers".

You took it in the wrong way then. What I meant was that they're are terrible punk bands and good ones.I was simply poking fun at the arrogant, simplistic ones.I wasn't being narrowminded at all, considering the fact that I don't have to enjoy every style of punk or any other style for that matter.Do you catch my drift on punk now?

Wow, I want to meet a punk that talks like a pirate. We would be best friends forever.

Many punk rock fans are actually pirates in disguise.

I think rock music being repetitive is a good thing. It's the tribal 4/4 beat that gets into your bones and makes you feel the music. If you get bored in the span of a 2 to 4 minute rock song, hmmm.

Oh btw, Nirvana didn't kill rock music ... ac/dc did.

But, why bother? The categories are just stoopid. No one needs this. There's jazz, country, soul, and rock. They are distinctively different. All these other marketing stategies are just that - marketing. Don't believe the hype. Form a line. Form a line. Categorize me please.

I do like the idea of the Pirate genre though. Kind of a cross between Jimmy Buffet and Ozzy.

How could anyone agree that Nirvana killed music? It created a certain kind of rock that an enormous group of people were able to identify with.
