Meshuggah is a very different idea. It's certainly not for everyone. I like them because of their odd time signatures and I can space-out on something heavy.

Their discography is solid and they have a fair amount of fans (check their last.fm page and then take into account not everyone uses last.fm to get an idea). Their already an institution and will be remembered as legends in their own right.
