What is everyones thoughts on Lou Reed just wrapping up recording with Metallica?

I read somewhere he claimed that the material recorded with Metallica was the best thing he had done, or something along those lines. So I'm really excited in hearing it.

Didn't really get the humor there Necro...

They're clearly from two different styles of music, and live (as posted below) may not be the
greatest thing, they might be able to pull something off in the studio. You never know.

I just don't like Reeds vocals, his style sounds "whiny" like Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and Mark Knopfler.

To me..its like Bob Dylan singing with Iron Maiden. But, as you suggested, they could come up with something half way decent in the studio. Who knows?
