I'm a huge fan of Megadeth up to and including Rust In Peace. Marty wanted to go in a softer direction and although there are some good songs on the Countdown and Youthanasia albums, it just doesn't compare at all to the old Megadeth when Mustaine was pissed-off and fueled by heroin and cocaine. I love old Metallica, too but am not a fan of much of anything past ...And Justice For All.

I've just started getting into these guys, and I find them much more interesting than Metallica. So far, I've purchased everything up to The System Has Failed. It's all I've been listening to lately.

I've been a Megadeth fan since Peace Sells. However, they jumped the shark after Hidden Treasures and I've only heard spotty material here and there, like the song 44 Minutes on Endgame.

I live near Portland OR, and just found out these guys are playing down in Eugene tonight. How did I miss this?

'Angry Again' is the only Megadeth song I've ever listened to and thought "Yeah. I dig it."

The others I've heard make me think "I don't see how playing a pretty generic metal song really, really fast makes it any good."

Have you listened to any of their post-Rust In Peace material?

"Angry Again" is on Youthanasia so I would assume.

It was actually on the "Last Action Hero" soundtrack.
