AMEN! At least Lamb of God had New American Gospel and As the Palaces Burn, and even if their subsequent releases are over-produced and somewhat generic, I don't hate them like I do Devildriver...

Indeed. Although, I would put As the Palaces Burn in with the more modern releases, but more as a transitional album. It's got the same groove metal thing going on that bores me, though not as boring as Sacrament. New American Gospel is a ****ing classic though.

I think Ashes of the Wake the best of the bunch followed by As the Palaces Burn and then Sacrament. This is some of the best groove metal of the 00's.

DevilDriver can't touch LOG material. Not even close. LOG wins hands down.

Whoever thinks LOG is crappy, give their live album "Killadelphia" a hear. Listen to the songs album version and then the live Killadelphia version (If you're lazy to shortlist, look up Vigil, Now You've Got Something To Die For, Hourglass and my personal LOG fav - Omerta)

Before anyone takes a look at my post count and bothers asking, YES, I did make this account just for this...

But alas, Killadelphia was shot in 2005...the band has simply just rehashed the same sound for three albums now (following Ashes of the Wake)
