I could agree with this. But I also appreciate that they tried new things. (unlike Slayer)

Slayer really didn't try anything all that different outside of "Diablos in Musica". That was a departure for them, to a more Nu-Metal sound. I suppose "God Hates Us All" could be kind of in the same vein, just more heavy.

Anthrax to me, was never that good to start with though. They had a few good songs, but overall I always found them to be a joke. They had more of a sense of humor than the other 3 bands though, which gives them their place. They have a few great songs, but their discography as a whole is the weakest of the 4 bands listed here for sure.

If I haven't mentioned before. Stormtroopers of Death >>>>>>>>>> Anthrax

Sure, but you gotta at least respect Anthrax for "Among The Living."

Quality thrash album.

Okay I was wondering if I should get more from the Big Four or if I have everything worth buying. Here's what I have from them:

Metallica - MOP, AJFA, RTL (I know I have to get KEA, so don't say it)
Megadeth - Every album remastered except for Risk. Is Risk worth it?
Anthrax - Among The Living
Slayer - RIB, SOH, SITA

So what should I get that I don't have?

for Anthrax. get "Spreading the Disease" and "Persistence of Time"

"Risk" is really nothing to write home about, I would say it is for die hards and collectors only... not essential to own for the sake of owning though.

Show No Mercy and Hell Awaits by Slayer.

and the "Haunting the Chapel" EP as well as "Decade of Aggression". The latter is one of my favorite live albums, worth it if you can find the import with the bonus tracks "Skeletons of Society" and "At Dawn They Sleep". Though could cost ya money.

You need to get Metallica's original Garage Days E.P.

Not the extended borefest they put out a few years later.
