system of a down fo sho, they have a very original sound and voice. they're hard and all of their cd's with the rare exception of "steal this album" was amazing.

System. They pwn everything else on that list, except for Rage. I just can't get myself to like NIN tho.

I'd say Tool and Radiohead are much more creative and inventive than any of the other bands on that list, but I don't really like Radiohead all that much so I'll have to give it to Tool. Not that I don't like Rage or System, but neither really match the originality of Tool, and Nine Inch Nails can be good but they've done a lot of crap too.

I dont think Tool are that more creative than Rage or Nine Inch Nails...Radiohead are the best of them all in my opinion, because they dont repeat themselves and they mix it up, all the other bands stick to the formula that works best.

I love all these bands, but i think Deftones, A Perfect Circle and System Of A Down are inferior to all the others.

Tool sticks to a formula? From what I can tell each Tool album is pretty different.

Now i wouldnt say that, i mean i f*cking love Tool, dont get me wrong, but some of the songs on Aenima and Lateralus seem interchangable, like they could be on either album.

Dont get me wrong, im by no means saying sticking to one sound is a bad thing, after all, it worked for AC/DC.
