I love how their most adventurous album starts with a new wave cover.

Cold Lake wasn't their most adventurous?

I suppose in terms of going somewhere that was a risk it was, even though from what I hear Tom Warrior wasn't really all that into the whole venture and basically left songwriting to the label plants who replaced the original band members, so I don't know if it's even really fair to call it a Celtic Frost record at all.

And from what little I remember of the record it certainly didn't have the risk taking in terms of experimentation that Into the Pandemonium had.

Yeah, just yanking your chain there. It was far from being adventurous. If anything it was predictable. Maybe not in the sense you predicted it from them, but in the sense it was popular at the time to play glam metal, and they kinda jumped ship onto that one.

Cold Lake is an album you can laugh at at least.

You should join in on the Metal Wars man. I think you would be a good addition to it. Interested in hearing your thoughts on the current battle going.

Right now, I am listening to more Gorguts. This is my favorite instrumental of all-time. I love it more and more with every listen.

It will be up for a few more days most likely. So no hurry. Great to hear you are in.
