Grown men cry and raise their lighters to this song.

I really love the opener song to Bathory's album Hammerheart, but I haven't listened any further yet. I really should though.

Also, this classic from Kalmah will never get old for me.

Not heard this band. There is another band called Graveyard who I really like who are Death/Black Metal.

I'm now listening to a great, relatively new song from Kalmah that I'll likely also consider a classic a decade from now.

Despite the gimmick aspect of the band they still made some damn good tunes.

You must. I don't have favorite bands, but Bathory would be a contender if I did. This right here is everything that's great about the band during their VIking metal period. Bear with the song though, it takes a good while to build up.

These dudes are definitely more stoner metal, but I tell you man, this album is fantastic. Here's a teaser song, maybe it'll get you into it. If you hate Robert Plant though, that's the biggest turn off for people, total Led Zep vocals. I never had issue.

A friend in the metal album club I'm in insisted that we chose some Dragonforce. This is my second Dragonforce album. Thanks, poseur, for choosing an album by the Nickelback of metal.

Bigger Than The Devil---S.O.D. (Stormtroopers of Death)

Been really into the "crossover thrash" kind of stuff lately. It's just a lot of fun to listen to.

Also I love the album art. It's a parody to the cover art to Number Of The Beast by Iron Maiden. It's really cool.
