It's the Exodus curse. And they never lifted it till Tempo of the Damned afaic. Although that live album with Baloff from 97 was a damn good anomaly. So I guess they lifted it in 97 since that was the next release before Tempo of the Damned, but that wasn't a real album so I say it doesn't count, even if it was awesome.

I mean Tankard's never been that great but they managed to git gud in the last decade or so. But srsly they've always been Tankard but just got better production to make up for it.

That basically means they more or less rule though. More or less.

I mean yeah, I love me some Tankard, but they also have an odd ability to rule even while being just moderately good thrash, which is in contrast to the vast majority of ****ty thrash bands.
