In an era of cheesy bull****, that tune gave me hope for a better metal future for some reason.

Why are you up at 4 in the morning?

Anyway, I think the raw production on Darkness Descends suits the material. That album and Leave Scars both have raw production and it enhances those albums' dark atmosphere. Spectrum of Death conversely, is another album with raw production and that album's production just sounds bad period.

Not gonna post in the punk forums, nobody gives a **** about those anyway.
Plus this actually kinda sounds like melodic, yet punkish BM at times.

Why do they let guitar nerds listen to metal? Nothing good ever comes of it.

Because Marc Rizzo needs at least one or two people out here on the other end of the speakers.

If you close your eyes tight enough, you can feel Rizzo slowly strangling Max with a guitar string:

The best rap rock song ever and while that is not a contest worth winning this is a 1st place position worth fighting for because this song is amazing. "Killing in the Name' can compete but even then only just.

Nah, Spazz by The Elastic Band. Rap Rock before Rap even existed.
