Seriously though, you should really check out Control Denied if you haven't heard it properly already. There's some pretty amazing instrumental sections where Chuck is giving his all on the guitar.

I think the singer got in the way of my appreciation of Control Denied when I've tried to listen to them but I'll give them another shot.

You can always cut together a playlist of the solo sections if Tim Aymar is getting on your nerves.

I like him a lot more in his own band, Pharaoh.

Horrendous was actually really ****ing solid. Felt like a compromise between all the OSDM-type and prog death-type stuff being released this year.
