Nearly all the albums that i've covered on here have been essential and important albums to the power metal genre, but the sixth Stratovarius album is something special, not only is this Stratovarius's greatest moment, but this is possibly the greatest ever power metal album imo to ever be released. The songwriting and playing are top notch and the songs executed so well that there is hardly a duffer in sight on this album. This is an album, that all power metal albums should aspire to be.

I'm the same way with Hammerfall. Stratovarious is ****ing ace too though.

Very similiar bands really, in that if you like one, you're sure as hell likely to like the other.

I'm listening to a lot of Angra's discography at the moment, I can't believe that I overlooked this band in the past and passed them off as just alright. This band have real talent and their own style as well..........lovin em.
