It's ok. I understand completely. There are millions of females who like Cradle of Filth over 1349.

Good? For your information, death metal died after the Suffocation/Immolation era. So, "good" to you is non-progressive in reality.

Uh, what? There are millions of people that like Cradle of Filth? And more than that, millions of females? Are you for cereal?

I can't find five attractive women that like Black Sabbath, let alone stuff as devoid of melodic prowess as Cradle of Filth.

I don't know. But I do know that Cradle of Filth is one of the greatest international imports in the history of metal, thus turning me off to it instantly. I always get reminded of Dimmu Borgir every time Cradle of Filth is mentioned. Even though I haven't heard them yet, I know they suck.

As for right now, I have to take a dump. Have fun talking amongst yourselves.

Shall I just ban you now or just wait until you make more stupid posts. (even though you are trying to be incredibly flippant and in fact making an arse of yourself).

Nice to see how open-minded you are. But I'm not surprised; there are plenty of people who poo poo on bands they haven't even given a chance. They just won't admit how insufferably narrowminded they are.

All stigmas aside, Cradle of Filth is probably one of the biggest piles of shit (analogy intended - perhaps that's the reason behind the name) ever. But you should at least listen to them before you reveal what an ignorant twat you can be.

About CoF, TBH, the band COULD have been better if it wasn't for their screwed up vocals.
And their Vempire EP is actually quite good. Having said that, most of their other stuff are pretty mediocre with cheesy keyboards and like i said, f*cked up vocals.
Their new single wasn't all that bad though...kinda going back to their roots, but seems uninspired. The solo was kickass, but the vocals have changed only a bit. Only their first two albums/Vempire EP are listenable.
Tragic Kingdom(new single)

As much as i dislike CoF and their fans myself, i would have to disagree with this. Listen to Vempire/Dusk and Her Embrace and you'll see they did have some good musicianship back then. It's just over time, when they changed their sound and sold out.(i just hate this term...but couldn't think of a better word atm)

It must be that sound that I'm accustomed to hearing. One of my good friends turned me onto Mastodon, Coroner, and Dog Fashion Disco a while ago and in that spirit I gave another recommendation of his a chance (COF). He ripped a few of their songs onto my PC and I gave them a try. I have not listened to them since. What a pile of inverted, self-glorifying tripe.
