Favorite type of metal (genre, album, metallica, Judas Priest, AC/DC)

Yeah Thrash metal
both regular Heavy metal and trash metal kick ass. Death metal sucks in my opinion, I mean slayer is acceptable, but death metal just sucks. The rhythm suck, it's fast pace but most notes don't take skill, and they all sound like their chocking and trying to spit it out while mumbling at the same time.

I guess I am more of a dabbler in metal as I am in all things, but I like to hear the more experimental end of hard rock / metal in general...

I love basically anything Mike Patton has put his hand to:

Fantomas
Mr. Bungle
Faith No More
Tomahawk

All great stuff!

Also like the progressive / instrumentally flavoured work of Devin Townsend of Strapping Young Lad...

My other metal faves include:

Metallica
Type O Negative

Lacrimas Profundere
Godkiller

So yeah, I kinda like to dabble all over the place, really.

And just to further the discussion about AC/DC mentioned earlier... they aren't metal.Definitely a hard rock band, and back in their earlier days in Australia they were considered a "pub rock" band, from a whole swag of smilar bands of that era in that country...
