Awesome movie. It's where most of the Varg gifs come from. You should also check out Lords of Chaos. It's a combination black metal history, gossip rag, and compendium of Nazi and Asatru ideology. Best music book I ever read.

And for the record... Ihsahn is probably the coolest dude to have been vaguely involved with those folk. I read an interview once where he basically said they're all drama queen homos and he just wanted to make music.

He's interesting, but I find anyone who identifies with LaVeyan Satanism to be goofy. Sure, I agree with plenty of the philosophy, but for the love of Thor, if you're following a religion that doesn't believe in the Christian God, then why are you naming it after the Christian devil? It would make as much sense to call themselves Sith Lords.
