We're not talking about your run of the mill criminal here. These are 100% pure psychopaths.

Both should have gotten the death penalty.

In my opinion.
Breivik isn't ever getting out. Even though the highest penalty is 21 years in prison, they can, and will, keep him "protected from society" for exactly how long they want. Don't know what's up with letting that Bård guy out early, though.

Just to make sure it's clear, Chula was talking about Bard Eithun, former drummer of Emperor, not Varg Vikernes of Burzum.

I'm dubious about the death penalty. I'm not one to consider life sacred, but anyone who I'd consider to be in need of putting down, I'd want to use for my life sentence, psychiatric evaluation idea that I posted somewhere else to you.

Bård, actually, since you're bolding it and all.

But yeah, got it.

I think hopeless dangerous people should be viewed as non-humans and used for experimentation. Not because I want them to suffer or anything, just because they'd get put to good use.

Also on board with rehabilitation but sometimes its hopeless.

The problem with this, same as with the death penalty, is that at some point it will definitely be done to someone who is actually innocent. And this would be such an incredible, terrible injustice, that any potential benefits will be outweighed.

The death sentence is such a primitive, flawed idea. Never worked, never will work.

I guess that isn't a big deal to me.

Also talking about hopeless people who are obviously insane and murderous... Like, there's no doubt. And if its an insane person who brags about killing people they didn't actually kill..... Well, that's a sick dog anyways and we need guinea pigs.

Oh please, there are cases where confessions are extracted out of psychologically unstable people with the intelligence of a child.
When those cases are then presented in court they seem pretty damn tight.
If you really think it's no big deal, if those people were killed or experimented upon, there is something really wrong with your morality.
Or are you just trying to be all hardcore and edgy, like some sort of occult hawk?

Some people just don't deserve to be alive anymore.

Google Charles Warner or David Westerfield.
