Best metalcore I've heard recently is. Novellists & Prepared Like A Bride. Wish I'd got into them sooner. PLAB sound like Adrian era Northlane with a few tweaks here and there.

Botch is cool, I heard they were pretty seminal when I was originally exploring early punk rock and hardcore.

If you want to check out some good stuff that embodies this kind of sound, Kind of missing the mathy elements though.

also, my favourite metalcore band is probably ERRA, Impulse was just a masterpiece. One of my favourite albums of all time.

The Afterimage - The Seeking

Very difficult to catagorise the band, I'll just say progressive. This track is pretty metalcore; a banger though. It's their most straight up hooky song.

I never listened to Cave In before, but just checked out their first album, which is predominantly experimental metalcore, before they'd shift sounds. It's really awesome.
