Awesome to see someone put Gordon Gano on this list. LOL

I am surprised to not see Axl Rose anywhere on this thread yet. He may be a jerk, but his range is one of the best ever.

Technically Axel rose has the best vocal range of all time so he would be classified the best.. But I personally am not a fan of his so my personal view is that Eric Adams is the best Singer of Manowar

I like the potential this thread but in order to keep the peace and come up with meaningful outcomes is anyone else in favour of having subcategories for:-

- Technical ability
- Attitude/Stage presence
- Contribution to the genre
- Live performance / consistency

?

To quote flight of the conchords, be more constructive with your feedbeck.

It's just so meaningless. I mean it's pointless how many notes someone can sing if their music is bad. Like Urban said, you guys can keep talking about how great Freddie Mercury is, but he'd be terrible in the Fall, while Mark E. Smith, one of my favorite vocalists, would be terrible in Queen. The measure of how good a vocalist is has to do with how good they are combined with their music, it has nothing to do with so-called "technical ability".

I'd agree, so lets look at who's got an awesome voice but no clue how to use it and vice versa
