More opinions, just in case you've missed this one on Youtube:-

Ah good stuff, yes were not saying that she did it, were simply engaging in fun speculation based on the facts.

That was interesting, I had heard of the handwriting before but never looked into it. So fact...

Courtney Love accidently leaves her backpack at her attorneys office for the week shortly before Cobain is found dead.

The attorney breaks client confidentiality with a private investigator after discovering two suspicious notes in the backpack, one which shows Courtney practicing her handwriting.

The handwriting practice letter eerily appears (at least on the video you posted) to line up with the last sentences off Kurt Cobain suicide note where the writing looks different from the rest of his note.

Wikepedia also states that Rosemary Carroll claimed that Kurt was planning to cut Courtney out of her will in preparation to proceed with a divorce. (Though I have not followed up on the primary evidence for this) One might also ask why does a grown woman need to practice her handwriting?

Again this could all be nothing more than random probability, but I think this is a job for Columbo, lol!

I had never really bought into the "Kurt Cobain was murdered" theory. However, there were some huge question marks brought up in that movie and whatever the reasons for it, Courtney's behaviour around that time was deeply suspicious. One example that I find particularly strange; why not say to Tom Grant (the Private investigator) that her friend had seen Kurt only days before instead of saying no one had seen or heard from him since rehab??

I certainly agree with the above point. If the police were at all competent, I definitely think that it would have merited a strong conversation as to why Courtney Love was practicing her handwriting!

However, I also just recently watched Montage of Heck which was kind of eye opening at how vain and self obsessed both Kurt and Courtney were, so I also think that all the confusion and suspicious behaviour by Courtney is potentially just her clumsy attempt to engender public sympathy and to be seen as a tragic grieving widow that had been extremely hard done by.

Apart from some deathbed confession or something though, I doubt we'll ever be fully sure of it all. It is very intriguing though!

I've heard it said for a long time that its highly unlikely anyone would want to kill themselves whilst high on heroin. I subscribe to this theory

Even more interesting on that note is that in the documentary one of the interviewed doctors says that the actual amount of heroin in Kurt's body was approximately 3 times the lethal dosage (for a heroin addict).
Kinda hard to be sure about that of course, but another talking point nonetheless.

Although I don't care for acting-reenactment by Hollywood standards in documentaries, this trailer made me curious. Hopefully this will be better than Kurt & Courtney.
