Default Dumb Things My Mom Says About Metal
So my mom, much like me, is a metalhead. We have fairly similar tastes in music. But sometimes she says dumb stuff about it and then argues her point like she has to be right about it. Even though five seconds of actual research proves she completely wrong. So now I'm going to share these stories with all of you. Cheers!

"I love metalcore. You know, bands like Bring Me The Horizon, August Burns Red, and Five Finger Death Punch."

My question is why are you not offended by your mother considering Bring Me the Horizon and August Burns Red as the go-to metalcore bands?

Lol. They're not too bad. I disagree with what a lot of there fans say about them. Bring Me The Horizon last release was a pile of horse **** disguised as music. I once had a friend tell me that he thinks lyrically that August Burns Red was one of the most brilliant bands out there. I'm more willing to give that award to my retarded bitch ex then them. Lol.

I could give a **** about Bring Me the Horizons' last few boring albums, but their first couple releases are spastic nonsense in the form of highly entertaining deathcore that is fantabulous in small doses.

But they wouldn't be the band I mentioned when asked to defend metalcore.
