I like Coltrane but as background music, when I'm listening to heavy metal though, I want something more structured with a repetitive guitar riff, which is why I prefer Master of Reality to Volume 4.

I hella don't approach it as background music, so that's probably where the rift is here. Honestly I find Coltrane distractingly amazing, I can't help but carried away in it.
