you guys have to be ****ting me... you're really mad because slipkniots guitarist can literally rock the heads off of ANY hardcore band you put them up against... LITERALLY any... times like 19000 you ****ing ****heads... you guys do not know music.... yea you could pay 3 dollars to see a show in a basement and it would stick worse than a fat man's nuts in florida in the summertime, after he'd been thoroughly lathered up with fish oil.... youguys are ***s... and shouldnt be allowed to comment on anything because youre just stupid.... YES minor threat SUCKS.... yes you heard me... SUCKS what can they do? play dddd d# d#d# dddd d#d#d# all day and yelp some half ass lyrics about politics that they know nothing about because theyre too poor to own a television? OOOO great music GREAT music.... no but slipknot sucks... thats why everyone BUT YOU loves them, thats why they can go to countries that dont speak english, and people will know every word... face ****heads, slipknot, system of a down, their voices are heard around the world.... people listen they think, they are influenced by the music... minor threat only influences people to jump off a damn bridge just to get the noise out of their ears... so shut your mouth... you think ian mckkay would rather you *******s be the only ones listening to his music? or be able to play in sold out arenas where football fields of people come to listen to the words he wrote? yea... the latter my friend.... musicians want to be heard, its an artform idiot.... but you wouldnt know anything about that....

Well I wouldn't say that their nu-metal, and I wouldn't say their very good. Mick allegedly used to be guitar tech for metallica, which must appaul you but dispite what you think, there are alot of bands that could burn slipknot on guitar.

Im not very impressed by how "crazy" or "out of control" a band. They are not the very definition of musicianship. They in fact are crap at their instruments. Cory and Jordan are the only talent in the band.

Ian MacKaye broke up Minor Threat because they were getting too mainstream, and being asked to play huge venues, so although they never played in football arenas, doesn't mean they were never asked to play large venues holding as much as arenas....

Minor Threat brought foward the idea of being Straight Edge, which is a way of life...(a way of life which I don't follow) that is still around and VERY popular today...

Until Slipknot has people running around with masks on like them or following the way of Slipknotism or whatever....

until then don't speak of this EVER:
