What I'm saying here is that we are similar to the British in a lot of ways. For example we both have better comedians than the US, but Britain's are better than Canada's. And our vocabulary and pronunciation is somewhere in between the two.

Of course we are 100% Canadian, but if you don't know what that means, its just to help you get an idea.

I don`t know any Canadian comedians so I can`t say whether ours are better.

As for your pronounciation, lets just say I couldn`t tell the difference between an American or a Canadian if they spoke. Similiarly I couldn`t tell the difference between and Australian or a New Zealander.

As far as American accents go, the only ones that sound really different to me are those from the southern states.

Joking aside, I think Canada really has more in common with the US than with Britain: Similar accent, similar architecture, similar geography, similarly spread out infrastructure, similar sports, similar food, similar ethnic mix, similar fashion, similar history, similar music, more closely-related entertainment industries, etc., etc.

THANK you lol, someone gets it

btw, our comedians include: Mike Myers, Jim Carrey, John Candy, Tom Green, Eugene Levy, Russell Peters, etc.

basically all the good comedians you might have thought were american are Canadian.

You`re right I thought most of those were Americans, I was always a big fan of John Candy.

Lmao!

those are all very american comedians in their own way. Every country will obviously have their own comedians. That's all I'm going to say.

edit: well, let me just add that each country we are talking about here has it's own style of comedy, to a certain degree, and in general I prefer those styles in this order: British Comedy; Canadian Comedy; American

and everyone is entitled to their own taste

anyone else seen Between two ferns with Zach Galifinakis? One of the funniest things I've ever seen.

Right. All I'm saying is that "all the good comedians I might have thought were american" are, in fact, actually American.

What? This doesn't make any sense.
