For the most part death makes people overated.
Sometimes they pass away unnoticed.
For instance Joey Ramone is an amazing vocalist...yet no one cares.

True and good idea with using Dimebag because I'm tired of reading my monthly Guitar World and reading the little soap box that is full of Dimebag letters and all the articals. He was good but not worthy of all of that stuff.

Goods underating him a bit he was a great guitarist and i'd put him in my top 20.
But all the freaking out over his death is a bit "meh, shutup".
Hes not the best ever.

We probably cannot name the best one ever because he was too humble to show up all the stupid people like Yingween and all them.

That's because:

1. Hendrix was a lead guitarist, whereas Entwistle played bass guitar--which is primarily an accompaniment instrument.

2. Hendrix died in his prime, whereas Entwistle was probably at least a quarter of a century past his.

I'm taking nothing away from Hendrix, but rock stars who die in their prime do tend to get put up on a higher pedestal than others.

The name is Darby CRASH. He never really made it beyond the L.A. punk band scene, so it's not surprising that he's not talked about much.

He can't be compared with an international rock superstar like Hendrix.

He made it way beyond the LA punk scene.
Germs are one of the best hardcore punk bands ever(IMO).
And we should get back on topic..
But the punk scene isn't that known..compared to classic rock.

Why the topic is boring because there will forever be an arguement between bungalow and kasmir. Lets talk about hats! I like hats!
