Do you buy used at all Il?
yeah 20 bucks for that also

used CDs aren't popular here, and the flea market only sells past Top 40 CDs

The Who deserve all the praise they get. Fantastic band.

Quadrophenia. Maybe it's a tad pretentious but I think it's strung together wonderfully, and the lyrical themes really shine.

Listened to My Generation for the first time today. Quite an agressive record; I see where people make the art-punk connection here. As I noted in Live at Leeds Entwhistles bass playing is a key part of the band's sound, which is also shown quite well here on tracks like "My Generation" for example. This is a really great album especially for those who prefer a harder edge in their Who.

So I really appreciate the recommendations on the Who, Il Duce. I've REALLY enjoyed Who's Next, Live At Leeds, and Sell Out. I love them actually and think Live At Leeds might be my favorite. What would you recommend getting next by The Who? Tommy? Quadrophenia? My Generation? A Quick One?

The Great Quad probably

I probably wouldn't advise you to trifle with "My Generation" - it has some piss-poor James Brown covers.
